On Saturday, February 28th, FLCRC hosted the second annual Black History Month Celebration, Keeping Black History Alive. The program featured a variety of inspiring presentations and performances, including music, poetry, spoken word and dramatic interpretation. Guests also enjoyed an impressive display of exhibits, refreshments and prizes.
Thank you to our presenters and performers, volunteers, and all who attended and helped make this a momentous occasion! February 28th may have closed out Black History Month—but it did not close out the impact, excellence, and enduring legacy of Black culture in America. Together, we will continue to keep Black History alive!
