Eligibility & How to Apply

To be eligible to apply for the FLCRC Outstanding Senior Scholarship, Hildred Jones-Drain Scholarship, and Dakota Merriweather Scholarship, the applicant must be a first-time recipient and a Texas high-school graduating senior.
To be eligible to apply for the Y.A.L.E. Leader of the Year Scholarship, FLCRC Outstanding Student Scholarship, and FLCRC Service Learning Scholarship, the applicant must be a first-time recipient and a Y.A.L.E. member.
To be eligible to apply for the FLCRC Outstanding College Student Scholarship, the applicant must be a first-time recipient, a Y.A.L.E. member and a current college student.
To be eligible to apply for the Pre-Y.A.L.E. Emerging Leader Award and Pre-Y.A.L.E. Service Learning Award, the applicant must be a first-time recipient and Pre-Y.A.L.E. member.
To be eligible to apply for any scholarships or awards, the applicant must not have a balance owed to FLCRC.

The Scholarships & Awards 2025 application period will be open from August 1st, 2025 until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025.

To apply for the FLCRC Scholarships and Pre-Y.A.L.E. Awards, the applicant must:

Provide a copy of transcript/report card and SAT/ACT score if available.
Turn in your completed Y.A.L.E. portfolio at the FLCRC office on or before Friday, October 31, 2025.
Attend an in-person interview on Saturday, November 8, 2025 between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m..
Complete and email the FLCRC Scholarships and Awards Application to info@familylifecrc.org by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, October 31, 2025. FLCRC will not accept or consider any incomplete or late applications. No exceptions will be made.
Attend FLCRC’s Scholarships and Awards Ceremony on Saturday, December 6, 2024 at 6:00 p.m.
