Building Better Communities by Building Stronger Families

The Family Life and Community Resource Center (FLCRC) has played an important role in helping families whose lives are impacted by crimes and empowering youth from vulnerable populations. FLCRC has provided program services to over 6,000 individuals in the last ten years. This important work is supported largely by generous donors who contribute to us annually.

Exciting Plans for Our Youth

Our FY2025-26 Capital Campaign, FLCRC’s Future: Building a New Generation of Leaders, is a key component of our strategic growth plan for the next five years. Our goal is to raise $200,000 to support the expansion of our Youth Ambassador Leadership Education (Y.A.L.E.) program. These funds will transform our one-week Summer Enrichment Camp into a six-weeks Summer Enrichment Experience!

Creating a New Summer Enrichment Experience

The Youth Ambassador Leadership Education (Y.A.L.E.) program provides students 5th grade through college the opportunity to participate in activities related to character building, leadership, service learning, and college and career preparation. A key component of the Y.A.L.E. program is our annual five-day Summer Enrichment Camp, which the students not only help to plan, but also attend and facilitate as volunteers.

Our plan is to transform the five-day camp into a six-weeks experience, immersing students in highly engaging, fun and interactive activities focused on STEM, entrepreneurship, technology & AI, communications & social media, college & career preparation, language and culture.
