About the Y.A.L.E. Program

Youth Ambassador Leadership Education (Y.A.L.E.) is a program created to provide area-wide leadership opportunities for students to be actively involved with planning and implementing community initiatives. Y.A.L.E. links students throughout the community with real-life opportunities to develop their leadership skills. The Y.A.L.E. program is designed for students 5th grade through college to meet, plan and execute activities and events, in order to foster shared leadership and responsibility. As a member, students participate in various activities related to character building, leadership, service learning, and college and career preparation.

There are two student groups:

  • Pre-Y.A.L.E.: Student-led group for students in 5th-8th grade.
  • Y.A.L.E.: Student-led group for students in 9th grade through college.
