Pumpkin Carving Contest • Door Prizes • Interactive Breakout Sessions • Y.A.L.E. Podcast Discussion

Students, parents, educators, and the community are invited to raise awareness and increase understanding on how to prevent bullying. As part of National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month, this event will inform and empower participants to unite and mobilize in support of this important issue. The conference includes engaging breakout sessions utilizing PACER’s You’re Not Alone curriculum. Be sure to wear orange in support of Unity Day. Halloween costumes are also welcome!

All students are invited to enter the pumpkin carving contest! Be sure to register for the contest below, along with your event registration.

Keynote Speaker

Melissa Earls, LPC-S, NCC, NCSC, RPT-S

Dr. Earls has spent her career helping students, counselors, and schools build safe and supportive environments. She is a counselor educator, psychotherapist and counselor advocate bringing both practical expertise and academic insight into how we address issues like bullying, trauma, and equity in education. She is also a licensed professional counselor supervisor and a registered play therapist supervisor, with nearly thirty years of experience in education. She is dedicated to advancing prevention, resilience, and advocacy efforts to ensure all students experience safety, support, and a sense of belonging.
