FLCRC hosted its 2nd Annual Summer Community Conference on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at George Ranch High School in Lamar CISD.
A variety of skilled and highly experienced professionals presented 27 informative and interactive sessions to students, parents, educators, and community leaders, teaching them effective tips for navigating the College and Career process as well as lock-in on many key resources to achieve their desired quality of life.
Attendees also enjoyed Y.A.L.E. student activities, a delicious lunch and amazing keynote talks given by Dr. Gwendolyn Webb-Hasan and Miss Houston 2018 Jizyah Shorts.
Educators received six hours of CPE credits.
