Teen Talks

Giving youth a safe platform for discussion.

In April 2020, FLCRC launched the Y.A.L.E. Social Justice Teen Talks series, which gives youth a safe place to discuss current topics and events related to social justice. Each talk features a panel of guest speakers, often including leaders with backgrounds in politics, education, business or nonprofit work.

Our Social Justice Teen Talks are livecast on Facebook and shared on our news feed. Recordings of all talks can be viewed below.

Join us for a virtual event and STAND AGAINST BULLYING!

Due to COVID 19, this year’s event will be held online.

Students, parents, educators, and the community are invited to raise awareness and increase understanding on how to prevent bullying. As part of National Bullying Prevention Awareness Month, this event will inform and empower participants to unite and mobilize in support of this important issue. The conference will include informative and engaging breakout sessions utilizing PACER’s You’re Not Alone curriculum. We encourage all participants to wear ORANGE in support of Unity Day!

This event is FREE to the public but registration is required. Register by October 16th to be entered into drawings for Beats headphones and a TV!
