On Saturday, March 2, 2019, Y.A.L.E. students and leaders traveled to Austin, TX for a fun and educational time at the Texas State Capitol.

In addition to taking a tour, the students were able to participate in the Capitol’s TeenPact Leadership program. They learned about the legislative process in the government, and had an exciting opportunity to participate in different activities showing them how laws & bills are passed.
