Dear Friends,

FLCRC is deeply saddened by the senseless deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and many others.

During a recent poignant conversation, our Y.A.L.E. students used the following words to express how they are currently feeling: “Depressed. Overwhelmed. Anxious. Frustrated. Confused. Motivated.”

Let’s keep the conversation going. In the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.”

We stand with these families and advocate justice for all.
