Social Worker

FLCRC is seeking a part-time contractual mental health professional to provide Case Management Services.

Job Description

Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Case Manager will plan and coordinate with the FLCRC team. This individual is responsible for providing contractual mental health support, educational outreach and advocacy support services. Our Case Managers work with and empower client/families to establish and accomplish goals, advocate for under-served clients/families, assist clients/families with completing applications for benefits, and observe for signs of abuse and neglect. In addition, this individual is responsible for multidisciplinary case management collaboration, direct services, and supporting FLCRC programs, trainings and events.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University is required. Licensed Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or other related field is preferred
  • Knowledge, expertise, and a minimum of two years of experience in the fields of social work, case management, counseling, and community outreach services experience
  • Experience with Crime Survivors and Trauma-related mental health case management is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation and multidisciplinary project skills is required
  • Proficient in MS Office and data management systems
  • Action-oriented, adaptable, and innovative approach
  • Ability to work effectively in collaboration with diverse groups of people
  • Passion, idealistic, integrity, positive attitude, mission-driven, and self-directed
  • Must have reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours
