Ticket proceeds will benefit the FLCRC Scholarships and Awards Program, which honors outstanding members of FLCRC’s Pre-Y.A.L.E./Y.A.L.E. program. Recipients must demonstrate academic potential, leadership, and a commitment to community service.

Our Keynote Speaker

Anitra J. Collins

Anitra grew up in Mansfield, Louisiana. She is a graduate of Louisiana State University where she earned a B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering. Anitra began her career with International Paper Mill in Mansfield, Louisiana. She worked in various engineering and manufacturing management positions from 1991 until 2002. She relocated with International Paper to North Carolina in 2002 to the Roanoke Rapids, NC paper mill which was later acquired by KapStone Paper and Packaging Corporation in 2007. Anitra was production manager from 2002 until 2006 and later became the first female plant manager at the Roanoke Rapids mill in 2006. Anitra rejoined International Paper in 2012 as the mill manager at the Orange, TX containerboard mill and moved to Memphis, TN in 2016 as Manager of Technical Services for the Coated Paperboard business.

Anitra joined Graphic Packaging International in 2018 as Manager of Technical Services for the Mill Division in Atlanta, GA and moved to Battle Creek, Michigan in 2019 as Mill Manager for the Battle Creek Mill. She transferred to Texarkana in 2022 as Sr. Manufacturing Manager – Pulp & Power after the permanent closure of the Battle Creek mill. She has worked in the pulp and paper industry for 32 years.

Anitra has served on the local Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Boards. She enjoys mentoring students and young professionals with interests in STEM careers.

Anitra is married to Billy Collins and has one fur baby, Destiny the cat. Her hobbies include singing, playing piano, traveling, golf, and watching LSU football. Her purpose in life is to honor God, love her family, be a friend and help mankind.
